Dear Sir\Madam,

I have heard about an extraordinary project of the Jewish agency, called "Partnersip 2000", a voluntary project in which israelis can go abroad on an errand in order to strenghten the connection between Israel and Jewish communities abroad. I concider this errand a one-time life opportunity, which I would very much like to take part in.

Having read about this project, I find it very unique, and I believe that I am suitable to participate in the program. I am offering what it takes to be an emissary of the project abroad. I have the motivation and the willpower to aid and contribute significantly. Moreover, I speak three langueges: Hebrew, Spanish and English very well, which is neccesary to communication.

Furthermore, I am a responsible person, I am a counselor in The Israeli Scouts youth movement, I can lead, educate and work with both youngsters and old people. And most importantly to the project, I am jewish, I know the jewish history and heritage and I know how to implant my knowledge in other people.

In conclusion, I would like you to give me the opportunity to participate in the project. I have got much to contribute. Please, make my dream come true.

I am looking forward for your reply at your earliest convenievnce.

Kind regards,

Petrick Fishman

Almost excellent.

A Virtual School

Be ready and prepered to say goodbye to the blackboard, and welcome your new future "friend" - The keyboard. Nowadays, there is a new, growing phenomenon of Virtual Schools. Few are the people who have heard about this new method of teaching, in which students learn and study via the internet. The student does not actually meet neither his teacher nor his classmates. In this essay, I will present the pros and cons of virtual Schools.

This phenomenon bears a sack of benfits, and that may be the reason why many people praise the concept of virtual schools. it is very convenient since students are not dependant on buying course books and stationery, but on using the incredible world of the internet. It saves their time and their parents' money. Moreover, each student can progress at his own pace and under the supervision of a professional teacher. This makes the studying process much more efficient and enjoyable.

Apart from all the pros, this concept of virtual schools may be somewhat problematic. Abandoning the traditional school also means abandoning the social skills students acquire when going to school. When students spend their time studying only via the internet, less time is left for the sake of meeting their friends face to face and spending time around them. Futhrermore, The internet has managed to penetrate almost every aspects(מיותר) of our lives, and prevents people from living the "real world". Therefore, it should not penetrate school as well.

In conclusion, the concept of virtual schools may bear many pros and be very convenient, still, I support the old method of teaching.
